Lymph is Good
chronicles the journey of an active 30-something Dallas-ite trying to keep her head up while grappling with primary lymphedema.

Looking Forward

Finally, a week later, my surgeon got back to me. I’m bandaging again. Apparently I should have been doing this for a while… especially because my leg is so swollen post surgery. How was I supposed to know this? I don’t know. Again, I asked a very simple question: Can I bandage my leg to reduce the swelling without jeopardizing my recovery? With no response, I have to assume *jeopardy.*

But, this post is not called “Human?! Rant part 2” but rather “Looking Forward.” I’m looking forward to seeing the surgeon and having him assess my leg. No more of this “call me when you feel like getting back to me” nonsense… like actually look and see what I’m seeing and experiencing.

And so, I look forward… and try to explain to my friends in Boston what’s going on with my leg…

Spoiler Alert: Negative
