Fitting In

I went to get fitted last week and *go figure* my measurements are bigger than I was before surgery. Even though I’ve been bandaging for the last (let’s not count) weeks. My poor fitter was baffled and felt terrible for me.

Even worse, upon leaving my follow-up appointment my surgeon prescribed me not one new garment but three. So instead of wearing ONE garment (like I did before surgery) I now have to wear THREE. Class four…

For everyone’s reference, I was wearing a Class 3 1.5 garment previously. Class 4 is more compressive than Class 3. And three garments is more than one… My prescription now reads: One Class 4 1.5 compression garment with a Class 3 knee high and a Class 2 toe cap.

If my pants didn’t fit before over my leg before because of the compression, they sure won’t fit over it with two compression garments. Can’t flippin’ wait...
