Lymph is Good
chronicles the journey of an active 30-something Dallas-ite trying to keep her head up while grappling with primary lymphedema.

Another Variable

Between my thoughts on the foot pad, my garment, compression, bandaging, and anything else that I’m doing, I’m starting to realize that the invariability of this condition is only heightened by the fact that I just had surgery.

It’s another variable.

Unfortunately, it only now dawned on me that surgery will forever and always be “just another variable” to add to the list of variables that already exist with this condition. Is this because of surgery? Or is this because of the condition? Is it a complication? Or is this how it’s supposed to go?
