Lymph is Good
chronicles the journey of an active 30-something Dallas-ite trying to keep her head up while grappling with primary lymphedema.

iRun?

I haven’t been running since my “flare-up” (which wasn’t really a flare-up at all but rather a trust issue that I encountered after reading through my Elvarex manufacturer's documents) back in May. But we’re on vacation, so why not. We also woke up late, won’t make it to the gym that we picked out (so that we could workout without forcing ourselves to go for a run… that’s what God created ellipticals for!), and are itching to see the city… so, after a bit of hemming and hawing, we decided that we would run for 30-minutes.

Typically I wouldn’t document my workouts, but because I remember the inner flare-up turmoil that ensued after my last workout, I might as well state it here. We went running.

Sweden is beautiful. The weather was perfect for a run and I enjoyed every minute of it. My body certainly hurts, but yes… I ran.

What’s the worst thing that could happen? Another flare-up? #beenthere #donethat
